The cabby recommended us to eat here and the snapper was succulent and the portions were super generous. We left the resort to try something different and this was a nice choice. The curry was very good. You MUST try to jerk shrimp spring rolls, my favorite item on the menu.

My husband and I visited this restaurant, and were ultimately unimpressed with it. The waitress was not friendly at all, and even made a condescending noise when we said we didn't want to order dessert. Neither of us liked our entrees, but that was primarily because they were quite spicy (especially the curried goat). Of course, the food wasn't the fault of the restaurant, but it would have been helpful to have a warning. The highlight of the meal was the vanilla malt we ordered, which was amazing!

I wanted Curried chicken and it was on the menu....boneless. It was yummy....seasoned with all the right spices and flavors.

As we were staying for 2 weeks at a hotel complex all inclusive we wanted to get out and try the local restaurants. The Pelican stood out in the reviews so we booked. The place is quaint, staff were OK, we all chose local dishes, everyone enjoyed the food but to be honest it was no better than the local dishes served at the hotel. Prices seemed reasonable £100 for 5 people including drinks. It was worth a visit but I wouldn't rush to go back if I return to Montego Bay in the future.
