Great tasting food at a reasonable price. Located right on the "hip strip." breathtaking view of the ocean. The staff very friendly.

“Must do!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2013

While walking on the strip, many locals advised us to try the Pelican. So on the 3rd nite, we dressed up and headed down that end of the strip, we walked and it was lit up and lots of people around so we felt safe. We had heard from everyone that this place has remained consistent for 20 years, some of the staff have worked there that long!! The seafood and steak had high prices but there was lots on the menu in the $10.00 range. I had the curried chicken and it was so tasty with a nice bite to it!! Then I had the rum raisin bread pudding, it was so delicious and was served with a lovely baked meringue on top. The ambiance was quiet with a mixture of locals and tourists, everyone dressed up a bit as it is a nice place.

“Great little place!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2013

We went heare to enjoy a meal off the resort one night. The food was very good! The only complaint heard around the table is that they didn't get enough food...so portions are a little small. Also, at night, the location of the restaurant is a little scary, so maybe want to go with a group at night time.

In the heat I'm not a big eater --- except at the Pelican. THE BREAD!!! ITS SOOOOOO GOOD!!! I could have that and the tropical fruit juice (non-alkie) all day every day!
