Description: Pier 1 is Montego Bay's most pulsating open-air Seafood Restaurant, Bar and Entertainment Center that has been in operation since 1986. It is located on a picturesque peninsula in the heart of the bay allowing diners the perfect view for watching the cruise liners disappear into a brilliant sunset. Our restaurant is well known for its fusion of the intoxicating Jamaican Flavors by offering a wide variety of seafood dishes including the Pier 1 Lobster, our famous Coconut Shrimp and the Grilled Mahi-Mahi to name a few. For the lovers of the land, our menu captures the best of the Jamaican cuisine. From our perfectly Grilled Beef Tenderloin to the island favorite of Braised Oxtail, our vast menu has something for everyone. Like with our dishes, our four signature nights have found a way to fuse Jamaicans and Visitors by offering a unique entertainment package. We were staying at Hilton and Pier 1 provides foc taxi service to and from hotel.
Restaurant in great position, unfortunately there was a storm on evening we visited so had to sit inside and could not take advantage of view but this did not spoil our evening.
Food and service excellent and best margueritas we had in Jamaica. We both had seafood and entire meal was first class, will eat at Pier 1 again when in Jamaica

We ate there on a Sun night in Dec. and food was not great. Seemed like frozen seafood. Service wasn't great either. Many better places to go.

We had a disappointing meal there while on vacation at Montego Bay. The setting is lovely, outdoors on the water. The restaurant itself is quite a ways from the tourist area of Montego Bay. The food was really disappointing and the waiter seemed not to want to be there. Most people remark positively about the entertainment. We weren't there for that. If you just want a good meal, there are better places to go in Montego Bay.

I was advised to go here on Friday nights for the most authentic reggae/dancehall music you could find this side of Kingston. I think the food at all the hip strip places is nothing too special and came mostly for the music etc which is worth it. Oh and all the hip strip places arent cheap - they are generally tourist traps so expect to spend some cash. Overall its a good time and good music - at least on friday(s).

We actually didn't dine here. We went on a Friday night for some cocktails and music. The setting was really cool. It's completely open so you can see the night sky, boats, and the ocean of course. Drinks were reasonably priced (and much stronger than what we were getting at our all-inclusive resort.) DJ was pretty good. I would have enjoyed more reggae though. Ladies get in free most nights before ten, but stay late for the place to fill up and the dancing to begin!
