“Lovely Park”
Reviewed February 16, 2014

Beautiful park in the city center, you can walk, just sit down and enjoy the surroundings.
Went also a second time to enjoy a free concert in the evening.
If you just want to chill, it's the place to be :-)

“Beautiful and Calm Setting”
Reviewed January 10, 2014

Emancipation Park was just beautiful and like a nice park should be very calming and relaxing.

I was in Jamaica for Christmas through the New Year and decided to explore the Kingston side of the island.

I visited Emancipation Park which was a short walk from the hotel and I was beyond happy I did. The park was very green, lush trees and plants. The park had a very nice smooth trail to walk around and just enjoy the beauty and nature.

There was even a Christmas tree in the park for the Christmas season which was such a cute touch.

There was a large statue of a man and woman in the park which I thought was very beautiful artwork showing the beauty of anatomy and love.

If you are in Kingston you must go see this park and not just see it but walk it, sit down and enjoy the natural beauty of the park and the surrounding views of the hotels and business near by.

Just lovely all the way around. Thank you all who do an outstanding job of keeping the park so clean with well manicured landscaping!!!!

“Wanted to cry standing by the statues. One could almost FEEL the struggle of The People.”
Reviewed January 6, 2014

There is such a strong history in this island. Few of us can imagine what The People have survived. Such a proud, yet no nonsense people. Even the poorest of poor had a sense of self even the rich and or famous greatly lack!

“Nice Park!!”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

Was there with the family during the Christmas holiday - enjoyed viewing the festive lights with the Pegasus Hotel in the background. It offers a great place to relax amidst the hustle and bustle of Kingston and the grounds are very well kept.
