If you love Bob Marley, you must visit this Museum in Kingston. Hidden behind a high wall is Bob's simple home by todays's standards. A knowledgeable guide will take you on a one hour tour of Bob's home: many walls are covered with memorabilia, newspaper stories and photos spanning his career and showing Bob, Rita and the kids in more informal family portraits. The tour concludes with a short documentary of his life in an air-conditioned theatre on site. There is a gift shop selling all things Bob: from T-Shirts to CDs, flip flops to posters, lighters to incense sticks. Pictures are not allowed inside the museum but there are opportunities to take a photo sitting on Bob's front step where legend has it that he often sat, having a 'smoke' and watching the world go by! Entrance fee is around $20US and for Marley fans it is well worth the price.
