Comfortable, classy b & b under the personal attention of the owner. Set in a valley in the lower hills on the north of Jamaica's capital city, Neita's Nest is off the beaten track ... a quiet rural retreat, yet only just minutes from the hustle and bustle. Nice!!

We had a lovely, restful weekend with Michelle at Neita's Nest - very relaxed, with delicious brunch, warm showers and comfortable, well-appointed rooms. And in such a fabulous setting! We really enjoyed our trip to the Barrington Watson Retrospective at the National Gallery - Michelle was the perfect host, and the Nest is a cool and quiet place to stay when you're visiting Kingston. We will definitely be back!

Dear Marnie S,

A weekend at Neita's Nest coinciding with the 1st Barry Watson Retrospective Tour! So happy that your stay with us could fit right in with this exciting and historic Jamaica Cultural Enterprise Tour. It was an eventful weekend and yet you found time for rest and relaxation. We are happy that you chose us as your base for it all.

Looking forward to your next visit.

Great welcoming, the host was really nice, we felt at home right away. Good advice about local habits and places to go. The food was really nice too, local and delicious. The view from the room was amazing, you could see the mountains and an overlook of Kingston. I would advise anyone to stay here.

You were open to the best of both worlds; the home comforts here at Neita's Nest, and all that our city and country could offer during your stay. Glad to have hosted you both. Many thanks for your vote of confidence, Ward V.

This truly is a nest, a place where you have a bird's-eye view of the hills of St. Andrew, and a place of retreat away from the busyness and heat of Kingston. And yet it is a short drive to the sights and adventure of Kingston itself. After having lived in Kingston some thirty years ago, it was wonderful to come to delicious Jamaican meals and all the memories they brought back. We began an exchange of Christmas ornaments, and now have a lovely Jamaican ornament to hang on our tree as a remembrance. Highly recommended.

KareenaRanch,
Thank you so very much for your sweeping compliment on all that we are at Neita's Nest. Your feedback on what you like best of the two rooms you experienced on your visits is valuable to us. We do try to standardize our three rooms while affording each their unique features. Happy you noticed.
Next time it will be Room #1. Or, will it be one of your favourites?

Neita's Nest is a Jamaican treasure, a hillside country retreat with fascinating historic connections just a few minutes from the cultural heart of Jamaica, the mighty city of Kingston. I loved my stay because of the winning hospitality of the hostess, Michelle Neita. Michelle helped me find a bargain car rental and repeatedly and happily gave me block-by-block traffic directions on her cell phone whenever I took a wrong turn. In addition, MIchelle introduced me to two charming and excellent Scrabble players for an unforgettable Sunday-morning game. I look forward to returning to Neita's Nest and my new friends there.

If you have never been to Jamaica or are a regular returner Neita's Nest is just very special.

The location just north of kingston is very convenient, the view over the mountains just stunning and great for the evening and early evening, the atmosphere relaxed and the food great.

I have used here several times and recommend to others and it's nothing but great reviews and reponses.

Really real five star fine and many many thanks to Michelle for the help and small pointers that make all the difference. Just great.

Room Tip: it's a small guest house and so very personalised...
