No trip to Kingston or Jamaica should be complete without a visit to Devon House. The former mansion of Jamaica's first black millionaire, George Stibel. The Jamaica Heritage Trust is doing a fine job trying to keep this excellent piece of Jamaica's history and architectural heritage alive, despite financial struggles and lack of significant government funding.
Once you visit you will know why it is a MUST on your business/travel itinerary.

You have to try it! Delicious! Many flavors and superb environment. In the heart of New Kingston. Safe to go with family and children. They also have restaurants, pastries, and souvenir stores.

Once you are in Jamaica , please make the effort. The ice cream is creamy and delicious and there are a number of unique flavours . The serving is very generous so only go two scoops if you ordinarily eat three.

The house is very grand but it was pouring with rain and everyone crowded in to the ice cream shop. We were not impressed with the ice cream quite tasteless Basket and Robins we prefer
