My husband and I heard about this restaurant after several days in Guadeloupe in December 2013 and made a reservation. Beautiful restaurant and surprisingly not at capacity. We've eaten all over the world including both 2* and 3* Michelin-rated restaurants in France 2 months ago but l'Iguane was one of the best meals we've ever had! Delicious amuse bouche of guacamole and a tiny roll followed by rillettes of marlin for my husband and a scrumptious chevre tartelette for me with a spoonful of delectable tomato basil sorbet. My scallops in asparagus cream were "to die for" and his duck had the most marvelous sauce. The absolute best, though, was the melt-in-the-mouth dessert of chocolate fondant with salted caramel sauce on a crème anglais. One of those "close your eyes and savor" moments. Yes, the dinner was 140 Euros with wine but well worth it!
