We stayed at the Diwali in Nov 2006. We were looking for a nice charming hotel in Guadeloupe, and we found it. The staff is very friendly, the owner is often present, the new restaurant served excellent local food, albeit the selection was light. The pictures on the hotel's website did not disapoint us. It is one of the only hotels in Ste-Anne that is right on the beach (along with the Club Med). And the beach is unbelievable. The coral barrier breaks the waves further in the ocean (what they call a lagoon), perfect for the family. Ask for one of the two deluxe rooms. They have a balcony facing the ocean, well worth the extra cost.

We stayed at the hotel for the whole week. Ste-Anne is nice but small. Be sure to retn a car so you can visit the many wonders of the island.
