It was a really good experience, my children had such a great time with Timothé and the whole team !! All the animation and the activities
was fabulous !! I recommend the places for all the families :) i hope to see the same team next year !!

We had a very pleasant stay at this Club Med location, but what we will always fondly remember, is the exceptional quality of the kids' club (Mini Club), where the friendliest and most talented G.O.s took great care of our 3-year old. She's been requesting that we walk her to the Mini Club ever since we've returned home, 4000 km away...

Kudos to Nabila, Inès, Lucie, Maxou and the rest of the wonderful team! Un grand merci d'Adriana (et de ses parents!).

The beach is simply amazing and difficult to describe. My best ever. Club is full of activities with friendly staff but not exceptional. One can stay inside the resort for one week but at some point you have to rent a car and discover the island. Location is good to reach point a pitre and other parts of the island.

Great staff, friendly atmosphere. Fun vacation where you can do everything or nothing depending on your mood. Excursion are also very good. Trapeze/circus team is great: teaching all during the day, performing amazing shows at night and staying friendly and available all along.

Great weeklong stay!
Went on two excusions provided by the resort: the half-day distillery and island tour, and the Cousteau scuba trip. Both were excellent, as were the tour guide and scuba instructor. Also went on an excursion not through Club Med, of which they were happy to provide transportation without any problems.

In terms of services there was plenty provided during the day - always busy with the various sports and activities going on. The meals were great and offered a wide variety of options, and the cooks were very friendly, able to answer any questions. Had no issues with room service, and the maids were very respectful.

The night shows were very entertaining for the week I was there, however it seems that they might repeat some of them week by week, so that is something to note for longer stays. Also, the crazy signs every day do get a bit excessive (not my favorite part of the vacation).

It is obvious that the GOs put a lot of effort and care very much about their job. I don't know how they always have a smile on their face after it seems that they never get a break from working. I'd like to give a special shout out to Edin, Mathilde, Florian, Sylvain, Reda, Ulysse and Laure. Only person to be quite rude was the set design guy for the shows, other then that - exceptionally friendly.

One thing to note though - this is a family resort, so all activities, shows and afterparties are family friendly, meaning that you should expect there to be children at all of the bigger events.

To wrap it up, the resort is worth the stay, and caters to those who would like to be very active as well as those who would prefer to just relax.

Today is the last day of our 2 week holiday at La Caravelle and our expectations have been exceeded in every way. The food was excellent and all the staff charming and polite. I include the cleaning team and the restaurant staff in this statement.
Although we are English, we speak a little French and took the opportunity to practice. When our language skills failed, the GOs were happy to speak English.
We tried most of the activities on offer (archery, watersports, aqua-gym and even the flying trapeze with the circus crew) and at no time found language to be a barrier. Here the GOs must be congratulated as specialist sporting terms are quite different in other languages.
We took 2 excursions: catamaran to Marie Gallante and a visit to the Cousteau reserve. The first was let down by the quality of the local guide on the bus tour around Marie Gallante and the fact that the bus smelt of diesel. However, I understand that both of these issues have now been fixed. The second trip to the Cousteau reserve was excellent, largely due to the professionalism of the guide (Eddine from Club Med) who entertained us with lots of interesting facts and stories about Guadeloupe interspersed with some really terrible jokes.
We didn't see many of the shows, but if you only watch one make sure it is "Iptosi" by the circus team. Breathtaking.

One of the best holiday we have ever had. Too bad just one week.
We had 2 communicating rooms in the Marie Galante complex, so full of space for the whole family. Rooms comfortable, clean, renewed recently. Excellent sleep quality.

The rooms are under the palm trees and about 50m from the white, paradisiac beach, idyllic position, one of the best of the island. Beach super clean, crystal clear sea. Commodities on the beach, bar, sports like kayak, catamaran, diving, aquagym...

The restaurant offers gorgeous, amazing food, for every taste, local, exotic, continental, fresh, veggie, vegan, tons of fruit, never-ending desserts, baby food and food processor available, pizza (with Italian pizzaiolo), pasta, any type of bread... Impossible if you are on a diet.
The personnel is very nice, helpful and close to the customer, without looking false and intrusive.

The kids had a blast at the Mini Club. In the morning they could not wait to go and have fun. The GOs are just AMAZING. Maxou, my daughter loves you !!! My son is still singing "si ils vont nous embeter, on lui gette le crottes ne nez !", "nous on est le petits pirates !" so much fun! Sunny family, you're doing an excellent job with kids, well done !

So overall, I can 100% recommend this resort, it's not cheap, but the service that you receive is absolutely worth it every single penny. The ratio price / quality is excellent.

I have a couple of remarks:
There are quite a lot of tiger mosquitoes, that bit also during the day, beware. There should do regular disinfestation, like they do in the Maldives resorts for example. We got the rooms sprayed upon request, but it would be convenient if they just leave the spray in the room.
The club for the under 4 is at an additional cost (300 eur/week), I found a bit over the top that you have to bring your own nappies and napkins !
Small cutlery and paper bibs for kids should be made available at the restaurants, as adult cutlery can be cumbersome and messy to use for young children.
