“Really interesting”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

On my trip to Grenada, I came across Laura's Herb and Spice garden whilst I was driving around. This garden has apparently been developed in order to give people jobs. Now I don't normally do gardens, but since we eventually got there, I decided to give it a go. (The signage to the location is of Grenadian standard). We were the only people there and so the lady at the garden took us around. She showed us all the spices and fruits that they grow, including cocoa. She explained what they were used for and we touched, sniffed and tasted many of the items. It was really informative and probably very important in the economy of that area. Give it a go, it is only a few EC$. Plus you can buy some spices.

“informative and fragrant”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

The drive was fairly easy considering the crazy roads and the garden's guide, while bored with her spiel, was very informative. Lots of unusual plants.

Very educational. Learnt a lot about the various herbs and how to use them. The guide, sorry I can't remember her name is very informed. This is a must see.

“Enjoyed our tour!”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

We visted the herb and spice garden as part of a tour from our Princess cruise ship.
We enjoyed the informative tour and learned how the islanders used the herbs and spices for cooking and medicinal purposes. The gift shop was small and didn't seem to have much for sale, but the cold beer and drinks were a welcome site.

“Proud Spice Island”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

A personally guided intimate tour of this wonderful spice and herb garden. We were befriended by a lady who knew her way by touch, smell, taste, name, use and processing need around this wonderful local enterprise that has hosted royalty and ordinary folk like us.
The smells and tastes of the samples picked from the trees, shrubs and bushes as we went round amplified by the knowledge of our hostess made this an unexpected pleasure. Have you ever sucked a cocoa bean straight from its pod or nibbled cinnamon bark? I have now and what a taste bud opener they were! Try it! No rip off prices, no hard selling gift shop, just a proud presentation of what makes this the Spice Island.
