Recommended length of visit: 2-3 hours
Owner description: ScubaTech is based at the Calabash Hotel, which nestles in the sheltered waters of Prickly Bay on the southern coast of the island. The hotel's jetty makes access to the dive boat easy and the location means that dive sites both on the Atlantic and Caribbean sides of the island are within easy reach. We have three full time diving instructors offering the complete range of PADI programs, daily dive excursions, non motorized watersports, sight seeing tours & sunset cruises. We offer the most individual service on the island, max 4 divers per Instructor/DM. We teach in English, French and German languages. Come and discover Grenada with your ScubaTech Dive Center.

Well planned and supervised. Wonderful marine life to be seen. Aki, one of the diver supervisors was very alert to all those diving to ensure their safety.

Booked for my son to scuba and myself to snorkel - met with professional service - all involved made to trip a real treat - wish we could have done more dives - just have to come back again! Would recommend ScubaTech to anybody regardless of your experience levels.

“The reviews are right....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

Had the pleasure of doing a couple dives with SubaTech this week. Excellent and professional service - from picking me up at my hotel to provide a relaxed, fun environment for the dive itself. A big improvement on the dive shop that I used the last time I was in Grenada whose dive master seemed to be a drill sergeant just out of the army/navy!

“Nitrox certificate and Atlantic wrecks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2013

So just returned from the spice island of Grenada having completed a Nitrox coarse with Scubatec. This is my second visit with this utterly professional and extremely qualified dive crew.I checked out some other crews but returned to Scubatec for the service and attention to diver safety. The boat suffered some engine trouble last year, this however did not affect the diving, but now has two new 200hp Yamaha's to get you to the sights before the other crews arrive. As Sept is the rainy season some might think it will be bad viz and constant rain.We had seven drops of rain on our last day that was it! The viz was excellent so we dived some deep wrecks in the open ocean of the Atlantic and Caribbean seas.More shallower dives on reefs that are in great condition with plenty to see.A night dive on shark reef allowed us to see giant Hawksbill turtles sleeping WOW! For the ultimate weeks diving in Grenada book Scubatec and stay at the Coyaba Beach Resort on Grand Anse Beach. I had the boat and Scubatec's divemaster Aki to myself for the first three days. . . . . it doesn't get better than that. We will be booking for next year as soon as we can.
