“Short cut through town”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013

This was a remarkable feat of engineering for those times but to be honest there's not much to see as its a 1 way tunnel through the hillside and constantly tafficked.

“very wild”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 8, 2013

If you've never done it, you have to do it. Just walk single file and y;ou'll be fine. Driving through it is strange tho!!! And then you come upon all the traffic right by the Esplanade Mall and the cruiseship docks and look out! Anyway, it's a good landmark when you're wandering around & don't know where you're going. Take the stairs up outside/beside it for the View :)

“A lovely tunnel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013

Like many attractions like this the visual isn't all that exciting. However understanding how it came to be and what an achievement it was makes it more interesting to behold.

“I didn't know that a tunnel was an attraction?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013 via mobile

It is just a tunnel that connects the cruise ship port with the main harbour of St. George's. You can walk through it and vehicles drive through it (one way). It is better to go up the stairs and over the mountain in my opinion. At least there is a nice view at the top of the hill. No gas fumes.
