Description: Expanded and refurbished in September 2009, The Aquarium Restaurant has a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere, right on Magazine Beach with stunning ocean views. Fresh cocktails or lunch under palm trees, fine dining, relaxed lounging… a breezy dining room with two seawater aquariums, bamboo railings and leather couches, a river-stone lounge bar with funky rattan furniture, a new Koi-pond and waterfall from the natural cliff. Local fish carvings and 3D paintings reflect the tropical underwater scenery.

It is not always easy to find a really good salad in the Caribbean but these guys have cracked it. The local goats cheese from Belmont Estate is mild and creamy, the salad dressing very tasty and the salad leaves so fresh.

Delicious food, especially the seafood. Mostly services Ex-pats and Americans so portions are large.

Twice had the Sunday BBQ which is average but good if you value quantity over quality.

The setting is great but we sat downwind of the smoke the second time [ nowhere to move to ]and the service was dead slow.

It's far too busy for the staff to cope around mid-afternoon. Don't know what it's like during the week .

Try it more for good fun than good food.

We tried Aquarium twice. First time was the Sunday lunch barbeque. It was very popular with families and fairly good value for money. We also went one evening and the food was better. Whilt the presentation of the Beef Wellington was hardly fine dining standard the meat was fantastic and the meal overall was very good. Only bugbear was very high cost of average wine which is not uncommon on Grenada and other islands such as Bequia.
