The hotel is at the down an unmade road behindthe airport. at the foot of a 45% inclined road. Guests with limted mobility should have the taxi drop them at the foot of the slope and enter through the service entrance. The German owner is an excellent 'mine host' and usually gets to speak to each table during the course of the meals. The food is excellent, interesting dishes, well presented and size of theportions is just right.
We have been twice in successive years and there is a 'but'. On both occasions the service was rather slow - not just relaxed, but slow! The staff were forgetful, forgetting to bring water when requested and a l-o-n-g wait for our meal to start. The prices are high but quite appropriate for the quality of food that they serve.
