“not overwhelmed”

food was very good well cooked I had a ribeye and it was cooked just right just wasn't keen on the setting it looked a bit dingy and was down a really steep slope and then steps followed by a short tunnel so if you have too many to drink down there you will never get out on your own

“Very good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 17, 2013

Bit of a hairy drive down a steep slope but once there this is a lovely place nestled into the hillside. The sea is a few steps away. The food is good. Portions too large for a three course meal. Beef Wellington was scrumptious. Decent service. But it was quiet.

“Slow and inattentive service.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013

I went to a Sunday BBQ with friends and it was enjoyable. The only negative was the service: very slow and inattentive. We had to constantly ask the waitress for more water when the water goblet went empty. Had to wait another 15 minutes after the main course were served because two side dishes were missing. We probably waited another 20 minutes just to get the dessert menus. Not sure if the wait staff were too busy that day or they were just not attentive, but the service was not impressive at all.

“The best departure lounge at Grenada airport”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2013

You know what it's like hanging around waiting to get a late afternoon flight and there's not enough time to hit the beach or have a long boozy lunch and still not worry about missing the flight ?
The Aquarium is the perfect solution - a great restaurant and bar on a fantastic beach within walking distance of the airport terminal. How good is that ?
With a few hours to kill before the BA 5pm flight to London we enjoyed a great lunch with some excellent wine before pouring ourselves onto the plane and sleeping it off most of the way home.
From the large barbecue sending delicious smells over to the restaurant we chose some succulent lamb and meaty, tasty lobster with a cold, crisp salad and some great Spanish wine from what looks to be a good cellar you glimpse on your way through to the restaurant.
Service was superb and overall this was a sublime place in which to round off our holiday.
Really highly recommended.
