This restaurant offers good food, a great vibe on sunday with live music and a perfect setting by the beach with sun beds available for hire and good snorkelling on the reef. The only issue remains the service - slow service is acceptable in Grenada but the poor staff training at the Aquarium lets both the staff and the customers down. Simple improvements would be - engage in eye contact with your customers - never walk past a table with dirty plates etc but clear them in as you go - when serving at the bar do one thing at a time, don't serve another customer when you are half way through an order, concentrate on the customer you have. A few management improvements with better staff training could greatly improve this restaurant and fulfil it's true potential.

Visited this restaurant whilst staying at the Rex nearby.

Stood at the bar for 10 mins before we were even acknowledged and then we were shoo'd away to another bar further inside the restaurant. Once we got there we were ignored and several members of staff walked past us, we were only offered a table after one of our party approached a member of staff.

The table we were given was awful, right under the music speaks so we couldn't hear each other, we asked if there was another table available and despite the restaurant only being about a third full we were point blank told no and that no one had her complained about that table before.

We sat at the table for 20 mins before we were even bought menus let alone asked if we would like drinks.

Every member of staff we encountered was surly, and rude and dismissive. We were treated like a complete inconvenience.

I asked for a receipt after I'd paid and the noise the girl made after she'd looked me up and down can only be likened to one a fish might make gasping for air!

The limited Sunday BBQ menu was all that was available, I must say I had the sword fish which was lovely but sadly not enough to convince me to go again.

I've heard that when the manager is present the service and overall experience in general is very different. Clearly he wasn't in that day.

Not somewhere I will be visiting again, I've been treated better in McDonald's!

The Aquarium has a barbecue on Sunday lunches, with seating right on the edge of the beach -IF YOU BOOK IN TIME. Be sure to request a beach side table if you want one, as most of the tables are inside. There is a live band playing Caribbean music as you dine.
The view is spectacular, across the bay towards St. Georges with the montains in the background.
There is a good selection of drinks, including some fine wines although why anyone would want to drink wine when there are the excellent rum punches etc. I cannot imagine. The menu is nicely varied - one dish is a newcomer to us, Cornish Hen, which seems to be poulet. They also have side dishes for the barbecued dishes, and i can really recommend the sweet potato chips/fries.
There is a starter buffet with a really good selection of salads etc.
We booked for 1pm on a Sunday as a final treat before the BA flight at 5pm. If you get there earlier you could also have a swim from the lovely clean white sanded beach. It is only two minutes from the airport, and you can see the aricraft arrived veofre you pay your bill and head for check-in.
A meal of starter, main and drinks for 4 came to EC$330, not cheap but good value, I think.
All in all a wponderful final experience of lovely Grenada.

Amazing place! Had the seafood meadley and husband had swordfish...just fantastic! Drinks are a good size and the prices are very good. Would have eaten there every night if we could! Had lunch there too. The view is to die for, and can't ask for better ambience and entertainment. Staff is right there refilling drinks and making sure everything is to your satisfaction. Stayed and had drinks after the meal, enjoyed the entertainment but couches are uncomfortable. Other than that..couldn't ask for more
