Everyone says how good this place is, and the truth is it has great ambaince. The server started out very nice and attentive but as the evening wore on things didn't go well. She cleared half the table and never cleared the other half she seemed to lose interest. The food is good, what can I say maybe an off night....but in tourist season can you afford an off night??

We had several meals in Grenada. This place was by far the best we had. The seafood salad was fantastic. I also had the standard lobster which was very good.
It took a very long time to get service. Some parts of our meal were late to the table, which affected the overall performance of the meal. It took us three hours to dine there, but being on magazine beach makes it worth the time.
If we return to Grenada, I would eat there again.

My husband and i recently celebrated our wedding anniversary, and so to make the occasion special we decided to go to this restaurant to celebrate, From the moment you enter, you are taken out of this world and enter a world of lovely sea views. cave like room with coconut trees...to sum it up the ambiance is pretty amazing. The majority of the staff were very friendly and helpful and one was not so customer oriented. Based on the ambiance of the restaurant i couldn't wait to taste the meal, when it did arrive 35 minutes after we arrived i was ready to dine, however my emotions was short lived when i tasted what i ordered. one word.. Tasteless! what a huge disappointment for such a lovely restaurant. I visited on a Sunday( BBQ NIGHT)

On Sundays starting at noon, the menu changes to BBQ. Shrimp, lobster, steak, chicken, swordfish, etc. the menu is fairly extensive. Our service was terrific, but the table next to us was not so lucky. We ordered and ate before they got their food. The location is amazing. Very very steep driveway down to a nice beachside restaurant. The beach is very nice and surfing occurs right in front of the place. You have a great view up the coast. My Jerk chicken with mango chutney was a little dry, but very tasty and the plate looked funny with just two pieces of chicken and one little bowl of chutney. My wife had large shrimp skewers and they were both large and delicious. We both had a mango banana smoothie which was excellent. Mine had rum in it for 1ec more (22ec). Overall, neat place especially for larger groups. Call ahead to make reservations and possibly try to get the private gazebo near the ocean, or a table overlooking the beach.

The Aquarium is out the back of the airport, far from anywhere, and in a beautiful secluded cove. I suppose that they named the restaurant after the fish tank in the middle, which is now dirty and has around 2 fish left in it. Still, it's a beautiful location.

And the food is just spectacular here. Lobster Thermidor is the dish to die for - totally amazing. Don't go without trying this!

The trouble with this restaurant is there is no strong management - no clarity on who the manager is and no control. As a result, the servers have bad attitude, are slow and rude and this spoils the overall experience. This restaurant would be transformed with a good manager who kept the staff working as a team. I suspect it is no coincidence that it is slipping down the TripAdvisor rankings.

If you are looking for a special occasion and want the experience, then go to the Beach House instead. If you want the best lobster on the island... come here!

I'm also not a particular fan of the 80s and 90s "Lionel Richie" style music - one of my least favorite genres, but that's a personal thing.

But the food was excellent and we came back a few times. Expect, as always on this island, high prices at around $100US per head.
