“An Oasis”

A lovely bar restaurant, food is great,( pumpkin soup, fish, steak, hamburgers) from a little to a lot, whatever you want, if they've got it they will serve it. I have been going there since before this guy owned it. 20 years plus! A great meeting place in Grenada either for a quick thirst quencher or a great meal. Frequented by local business people and anybody wanting to know whats going on around the island. Television is a bonus or not???????????????(not on all the time though), sometimes its lovely music.. A great find!

“Nice little place to get grilled fish / soup”
Reviewed December 13, 2008

I highly recommend stopping in here to get the grilled swordfish (called just "grilled fish") with the creole sauce. It's absolutely awesome. French onion soup was not my favorite, but the fish was absolutely delightful. Affordable and yum!

“Our Grenadian Standby”
Reviewed November 20, 2008

Well, we don't have much to compare because we always go here (and Coco Beach) when we are in Grenada. We just stumbled upon it when we got in late on the AA San Juan flight. We felt lucky to find an open place to eat and weren't sure what to expect, but pretty soon every one from our flight started turning up. The food was grand. They put nutmeg on everything-I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Since then we have been back often. It's reasonable, very good food, open to the air, and it just seems like where the locals go. The only downside is that it can be slow, but there are interesting things and people to keep you amused until you eat. Its also handy to many hotels being in the center of Grand Anse.
