we always eat here. so i guess we would not keep going back if we were not satisfied.
right on the harbour view is average, but you get a nice breeze and its very central so you have access to other parts of the town.

Read in the guidebook this restaurant was worth a visit, and we found it was. Nice views overlooking Carenage. Saw local fisherman divying up the day's catch, and the ferries/boats transiting the harbor. Nice atmosphere with open windows. Place was clean with good seating. Had a highchair for our 1yr old. Service was somewhat slow at times, but hey, it's the Carib so just be prepared for a relaxed pace. The food was quite good, seafood and roti both. If you have a stroller, just keep in mind you have to take the stairs to get there, so plan accordingly. Worth the visit, look forward to eating there again next time.

Unfriendly and rude staff. Poor service. The Nutmeg is not what it used to be, it's best days are behind it. It needs to be improved drastically or shut down completely.

This place was recommended by a waiter at our resort. Great pinacoladas with fresh nutmeg on top of it, YUMMY!
However, the Conch Fritters experience not so good. At first they said that they were all out of conch fritters, i was sad, so we ordered something else. then they came back and said that they could do one order. We ordered it. When it arrived, there were 3 balls, perhaps a little bigger than the size of timbits on a little plate, they were hot,,, when they cooled off,,, i cut one open, saw NO conch, just batter,, cut the second open,,, no conch just batter,,, and the 3rd, the same thing,,, we sampled them,,, htere was no taste of conch,, just batter. I showed the waiter, he showed me the few small specs in the batter,,, i told him that these were pretty pathetic conch fritters. A friend that was there with us, he was local and he knows the conch fishermen, he told them our story the next day they were very disappointed that this is what they do with their conch!!! we were too, would not recommend this place. THey did not know that we were there with a local.

My family and I went there for lunch in late June. We got a window seat so that we could enjoy the scenic view of the Carenage, and the activity on the street below. Was in the mood for a cold Carib Beer and roti, and it didn't disappoint. Got the fish roti, and it was excellent!

They have quite a selection of rum drinks too if you like that. Definitely, along with BB's Crabback, one the places for lunch in St George's.
