Wonderfull place to spend a weekend, nice view of the Samana Bay, has a nice infinity edge pool with a ocean back ground, the food its not too good, the room is amaizing place to be with a good air conditioner, the attention was as a one star hotel. The agent for internal trips and tours are extremelly expensive, its better go to the Samana City and make personal arrangement with the local people it's less that 80% than the Bannister Hotel. The food at Regata was good but at Cafe del Mar was salty. The minimarket at the resort look small but can find all you need. But my personal problem was I left my iPad on my room and never appear again. I been try twice to locate with the people at the front desk but the iPad disappear. So take extra care when be there and use the safe for your values, never left nothing outside the safe.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
