“Disappointed”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

The course was just ok. Quite a bit of work going on around the course, hopefully to make it better. We wanted to play a course that had holes on the ocean, so we were looking forward to the two holes advertised. That is where the disappointment really set in. They were nothing special aesthetically, and not particularly well cared for.

“Good round of gold”

Booked through ezlinks.com and got a rate of $69/player. Course was in nice shape and worth playing at that rate.

“Price was $ 106 after 2:30”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

they let us play earlier at 1:00 pm for the same price. They have some sort of 2 for 1 special on tuesday. I went via excursion. Since only 5 minutes away , better off calling and negotiating since the course was pretty much empty

“Awesome Views and Picturesque Holes”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

Just played there 2 weeks ago with my daughter. We played at 2:30 to get the late day rate of $140 each. caddies were optional and other than getting to know where to aim your drive on Hole #1, the greens were very easy for us to read. Based on the hot weather the course was very well maintained and very plush. We played the Ocenaside course on the front 9 and the Hacienda (inland) on the back, as the other 9 holes was closed for some maintenance. (This was the only reason I did not rate this as a 5 star). For the cost I would have liked to play more holes along the water onthe nine holes that was closed. The Back nine also had 3 recently aerated holes, and they did give offer us an opportunity to play 3 addt. holes on the other 9 if we chose to do so. The course had 4 players on it totally when we were there, and the bevergae cart came around to us 3-4 times, which was nice since it was extremely hot and humid.
