The trip was awesome we did a 6 apple square deal and did not find out our hotel until we checked in at the airport. We had stayed here 4 years ago and liked it then and it has even improved. No bracelets or towel cards and you did not have to make reservations at the speciality rest. Except for the hibachi one that was really great. Isaac Richardson down by the Oceana rest and the grill was the best. He spoke great English and made us feel extra special. Also Carlos and Ramon in the wine cellar were also great. If you stay here you must spend an evening in the wine cellar. you need to reserve it and buy a bottle of wine per couple. it is closed off from the other area rest but you can see in and out. we celebrated by hubbies 50th b day with a cake and all. The food was great every where and so were the drinks. The pool was clean a tad bit cool but i got used to it and i prefer warm pools so it was nice to float in. We went zip lining and it was awesome we are sooo glad we did it, it seemed very safe and the workers were very nice. The rooms could use some updating but they were not the worst. We would go back.

My boyfriend and I spent a week at Dreams February 23- March 2. After reading a few reviews before our trip, I was a little nervous. However, I have to say that our stay was incredible! We were greeted in the lobby with a cool towel and tropical drink. The front desk guy was friendly and helpful, and the bellhops had our luggage to our room in a matter of minutes. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was beautifully decorated with fresh tropical flowers each day. We stayed in building 5 which was quiet, yet a close walk to the main lobby/spa. We expected a little more from the in-room mini bar, however, it was nicely stocked with sodas and beer each day.

The pool/pool bar was our FAVORITE part of the resort! The water was a comfortable temperature, and was kept very clean. Word of advice: get to the pool to claim your chairs EARLY if you want a prime sun spot. Most of the chairs were claimed by 8am, however, there were still plenty to choose from if you did come down a little later, just not in the best sun. Also, we wished that we would have brought a raft with us. They sell them in the hotel gift shop but they're a little pricey. The rafts are great to float around the pool in. The bartenders at the pool/beach bars were very friendly, and quick to whip up tropical, fun, fruity drinks! Make sure you bring some singles to tip them, it goes a long way :)

The beach was beautiful as well! If you walk down a few miles, you will find a cute little beach side gift shop (not the first gift shop that's advertised with a sign and men standing out front). It's a little bit of a walk, but we found some great Dominican gifts to take home for family and friends. It's also a beautiful walk and there's some great photo opps!

We ate at all of the restaurants and liked the steakhouse the best. The Asian place was a close second, and we also enjoyed the beach grill for burgers at lunch time. The main buffet was good for breakfast, but we tended to avoid it for lunch/dinner since there were so many other options. The entertainment staff was AWESOME! The water aerobics at noon in the pool was a fun thing to do, and the foam party on the Thursday of our trip was a lot of fun as well. The shows at night were also great especially the Circus and JERK!

We enjoyed a couples massage at the spa, and really enjoyed how relaxing the service was, and also the shower circuit that you can do before/after your service. Last but not least, we loved the fresh fruit lady that stood under the big tree each day! She would slice fresh fruit and hand out skewers. Lots of variety and something you certainly can't get in the cold, snowy Midwest in February!

All in all, we had an incredible time at Dreams! There were certainly more families than there were couples, but the kids/families tended to congregate in one area so it was never an issue. Would HIGHLY recommend this resort!

Great Resort. Workers all over the place keeping it clean. Hot water all the time. Food was great. The pool bar - Barracuda, was exceptional - thanks to Larisa, Luis, Elizabeth, Juan Pablo and Felix, we never had to get up to get a drink if we didn't want to. Our room was awesome. The Steakhouse was amazing - we ate there 3 times. The only complaint is that we had to come home.

We have been to the Dreams Resorts 4 times now. Twice to La Romana, once two Dreams Palms and this March (2013) to Dreams Punta Cana.
If you have been to either of the first two I mentioned do NOT go to Dreams Punta Cana. This place is not even close to the others, their preferred club is a waste of money.
Attention to details is lacking here. On every trip we take little things would go wrong, but not an issue. But in Dreams Punta Cana too many little things went wrong!
95% of the people are excellent and treat you like gold!
All the main restaurants are excellent. all our years of traveling, going to all inclusive resorts we,  have not experience better food than we've had at Dreams all inclusive.
This March getaway was to celebrate a major anniversary, this was overlooked by the resort. The last few years we went to Dreams and celebrated birthdays and minor anniversaries. They made us feel like we hit milestones!  This past anniversary was a biggie and nothing from Dreams PC. Disappointing to say the least.
It's a nice resort but if you are used to pampering and preferred treatment at Dreams Resorts this is not the resort to go to.

We travelled to Dreams in February 2013 for the eighth year in a row. We stayed in a swim out room which again was amazing. It's like having your own private cottage. Our room was always well taken care of by Alba and the young man who stocked our fridge every day.
We ordered room service a few times and were very happy to see Charlie, Isaac and Asher. They always take good care of us and remember us from previous years.
The food in the World Café was wonderful as usual, and the bonus of being greeted by Yudith and Rosa every day with hugs is pretty special.
Julio the manager of the restaurant made sure every day that all went well.
Fransisco, the manager of the Mexican restaurant also made sure that every day was special at Dreams, and he surprised us in the restaurant with special drinks and lovely food.
Thank you Fransisco for everything.
Margherite in the Oceanside grill remembered us immediately from previous years and greeted us every day with her beautiful smile as did Carlos.
Thank you to Ramon at the Portofino restaurant for the birthday cake.
The entertainment team was once again amazing, thanks to Carmen for all your help with the vendors.
The staff at the lobby were just great. We had a very quick check-in with Michel who has just the most beautiful smile.
In administration we would like to thank Hector and Elvira for always making our stay special, see you next year!
Thank you to the waitress who came to our patio to serve our drinks.
We even stopped in one day where they make arrangements for the wedding and the two ladies there were very pleased to answer all our questions. If you are planning a destination wedding I couldn't think of a better place.
The entertainment in the Plaza San Domingo each evening was just great for families. Lots of parents and little ones were dancing in the early evening. Just lovely.
Overall we had another wonderful trip, all the staff are so accommodating to their guests. Thank you once again.

Room Tip: We love the swim out rooms.

I was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was so friendly, helpful and happy, they were terrific. Thankfully, we upgraded to a suite because our previous room was too small for 3 people. Once that happened, it made our experience even better. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, we walked barefoot everywhere, and the beach is beautiful and very secure. the food was ok. The best restaurant for us was Oceana (seafood). Plus, if you have preferred access, you can have breakfast & lunch there and it's very good. We didn't enjoy the Italian restaurant (I live in NY) although it was very pretty. The Japanese restaurant (hibachi) was a lot of fun, although not very good either. The best option was the buffet where there's something for everyone. I had hoped we'd get more of the local Dominican food, but we didn't. The shows were fun - the staff really gets into it and they're really a fun bunch! The casino is small, but it was never that crowded and they ahd $5 tables. All in all, it was a nice place. would I go back, probably not. I'd prefer to stay a little closer to the airport at Bavaro Beach, and I'm sure Dreams Palm Beach is even nicer.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a suite, it's much nicer. We were not facing the pool and it was very quiet. There ar...

Greetings from Dreams Punta Cana. We are happy to see that we could meet your expectations and that you did not let the negative reviews mislead about the great work that our staff does. We want to point out that a new highway is under construction from the airport to our resort and the ride will be about only 35 minutes.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Dreams in Punta Cana from March 11 to March 17. From the second we arrived at we knew we chose the right place. All of the staff were amazing and took great pride in their work. The room was very clean, the food was great and the pool was unreal. The shows at night were very entertaining. We were even picked to be in the show our last night there. I cannot believe that people would write a negative review about this place. I cannot wait to go back!!!!! The trip was EXECELANTE!!!!
