Past week, I rented the condo in Bavaro Green. Alba was amazing and very helpful when I & my guest arrived.
It was my second time in Dominican Republic and this time I wanted to experience it with the local Dominicanos. The staff were nice (like all Dominicans) the condo was very clean but... Not every worked. The TV did not work and they never brought out the tech, the WIFI did not connect the 5 days I stayed there. The washer was broker, the stove wouldnt turn on and the water in the building would turn off. I would recommend staying if you are going to be out exploring the Dominican Republic but if you are looking to relax not the place. For a little more money I could of stayed at a villa.
The condo rental was great for the price. Base on that you would have to understand that in general thee facilities was money well spent. A few recommendation to the management. Don't advertise the availability of and outside grill if the only one you have is an old non-functioning grill. The gym can be upgrade for a few hundred dollars in free weight. The security at the gate never challenge me, and only got challenge when a policia was instructing the security at the gate of their rsponsibility. Except for those few item, the staff was responsive and helpfull. Any person planning this type of vacation, venture out and take the bus which is usually 50 cents US. Will save you buco money compare to using a taxi est cost $20 US or riding behind a scooter from $1 to $3 US dollars. Since you are on vacation avoid the bus during rush hours when people are going and returning to work.
