From the moment we walked into this hotel, everyone on the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. We stayed in a one bedroom suite in the Reserve which hosts families and has some exclusive features compared to the rest of the resort. Our room was spectacular and our house keeper Gladys Jimenez left beautiful arrangements with flowers on the table where you first enter and in our tub/jacuzzi a couple of nights too !
The food in the reserve is outstanding as well. A couple of days we were at the beach and tried eating at the Gabi and Naos buffets but neither one came close to the food in the reserve. I guess the only downside is that the beach is about a 10 minute walk but I think eating at an all-inclusive for 7 days means you should want to make that walk every now and then! There are also bikes and a shuttle that comes around for those who wouldn't want to make the trek on foot.
Dinner in the restaurants in this resort is also really great. Not every place was our style but we were open to trying new things and overall I'd say it was fantastic.
I will recommend this resort to everyone I know. The staff and the grounds are what make this place so spectacular. To say it is beautiful is an understatement, you really have to see it in person to appreciate just how much work is done to maintain such a lovely resort. And as for service, even the man who was emptying the trash cans on the beach would say buenos dias to us every day with the most friendly smile, which is just not what we have seen on other islands we have visited. Staff, grounds, food and overall service all get an A++ . We are sad our vacation is over but can't wait to come back!

Great family resort. Highly recommend Family Concierge. We stayed at The Reserve and wished the walk to the beach was a little shorter or the shuttles came more frequently. Food at all the a la carte restaurants was great.

This was our first trip to the Dominican as a couple and had a blast! Room service was fabulous, the beaches were beautiful and safe. We can't say enough about our concierge Neko.. He was fabulous, even arranging a romantic evening for us the night we got engaged! We will definitely stay at the Paradisus again!

My family (2 adults, 6 yr old, and 21 mon old) just spent 4 nights at this resort over President's Day weekend in a one BR master suite. It was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. We have been to other all inclusives in Punta Cana but this is now our favorite one. The staff, the food, and the accomodations were all excellent. It was NOT crowded at all for being peak season. Rosmery, our "concierge" assigned to us for our stay, was so helpful and friendly. She made sure we had everything we needed, right down to saving a cabana spot on the beach for us, complete with beach toys for our toddler! It also helps to have some small bills to tip the beach staff - believe me, a small tip goes a long way! (i.e. getting drinks, getting fresh towels, etc). There was a dedicated Kids Zone that included playground equipment, kid pools and slides, videos, and even infant napping areas. We didn't use it much only because we were primarily at the beach, but it looked great! There were 9 restaurants on the property, but with little kids we actually found the buffet to be much easier, and it was delicious. We also loved eating at the Gabi Beach cafe, where the fries, fish sandwich, and crudo were fantastic. Shout out to Valentin Caminero and Frank Martinez for being such awesome staff and great with the kids too. The beach was actually an 8 minute walk away, which is nothing, but since we had a toddler with us it was easier to ride the train that would come every 10-15 minutes. Sometimes waiting for the train was a bit frustrating, but my toddler absolutely loved riding the "choo choo" so it was worth the wait. There was free wifi in the room as well as INCLUDED 24 hour room service. Need we say more? One small strike was that we had to listen to a sales pitch to buy into the timeshare properties of the Melia resorts, but it was fairly easy to get out of it, and it was not a hard sales pitch. Frankly, if we could afford it, I would have probably bought the timeshare! It does help if you can speak a little Spanish, although by no means necessary. The staff all speak English very well. We will definitely be coming back again and again.

Room Tip: No elevators (only stairs), so if you have little kids and strollers ask for a first floor room. So...

If you are looking for a truly relaxing vacation in an almost magical place, Paradisus Punta Cana is your destination! The grounds, beach, rooms and food are wonderful; the staff are outstanding and so gracious and helpful. We stayed at The Reserve and were warmly greeted by Claribel upon our arrival. Our dinner reservations and other assistance were promptly handled by Anuvi and Claribel, both were very helpful. We'd also like to express our heartfelt thanks to Candida Pacheco, who greeted us with her beautiful smile (...and a cappuccino!) every morning and when dining at Vento for dinner; also, Hehwan, Eulises and everyone at Gabi for your kindness. I'd like to recommend a massage at the beach by Leida Flores...I've never had better massages nor been so relaxed---a true treat! Also, many thanks to Maiker (Mikey-Mike) and Ramon at the beach...you both are priceless. We are already planning our next visit to Paradisus and look forward to enjoying another truly spectacular vacation.

Room Tip: Our room on the second floor of building 43 at The Reserve was very quiet.

First I have to make the statement that I'm usually not a "all inclusive" customer so in this case I see it a little different. The hotel ground including the Paradiso hotel is a very nice complex with a beautiful landscape and its very clean. The beach is great and big so everybody has his spot. The Private part in which I stayed is newer then the hotel but the charm of the hotel Paradiso is nicer and more cozy. When I arrived they give me a small room with a view of the parking lot (not noisy) but this was not what I expected. After I complained and one night in this room they upgraded us to a very nice and bigger room facing the pool. The view there is nice and very Caribbean. The restaurants are all over the complex and most of them are very nice, but there was a big problem with the booking system. In my opinion the system they have in place is not very customer friendly and I was upset with the outcome. When we arrived and want to book the table service restaurants (there are also 3 self service restaurants) they told us there are mostly booked out! After I ask how this can be the hotel told me most of the customer make there reservation ahead of there vacation. This is useless, when you go to a place like that you want to look at the restaurant and then make the reservation. The result was that customer made there reservation in front they could go to this restaurants every night and the other customer left in the dark! I think this is not fair because everybody pays there price for the "all inclusive" vacation and should have a chance to eat at the nice table service restaurants. We got after my complain 2 confirmations in this restaurant but after 9pm! This is not very good too when you travel with a teen like I did. Overall the self service restaurants are good, the best selection has the Naos. The Gabi at the Private Hotel was not great, service not very friendly and the selection only average. The Gabi Beach is better in the food selection and service. The Grill is a good restaurant but you have to be lucky with the service too. The Aqua is good but the portions are small. The only other one we got a reservation was the Mole which is a Mexican restaurant, the service was the better part there. Some overall positiv points:
The complex is clean and big, the family rooms at the Private are big a nice. The pool at the Hotel and the Private are big and clean. The price / value is good when you have a nice room which we got as a upgrade. There are 4 tennis sand courts, also a lot of water sports available. The beach is a other good point. there are some negative points: The service in some of the restaurants are not friendly and good organized. Some of the employees do only the job because they need the money and you can see it. Especially the Gabi at the Private hotel is a negative example. There are always some nice employees too but overall not great. The restaurant booking system is not customer friendly and people don't know about how this works get very disappointed. With a family and the right time its a very good "all inclusive" resort but I would probably stay at the Paradisus Hotel because its closer to the beach and has more charm and a better service.

Room Tip: Get a pool side room on the 3rd floor at the Private or a bigger room at the Hotel.

My significant other gifted me with a trip to this beautiful resort, as a get away. Our Family Concierge, Leidy Guerrero, was very helpful and patient, along with Adalgisa Morla. Gladys Jimenez ALWAYS ensured that our room was prepared and surprised us with rose petals on more than one occasion. Everyone, Leidy Guerrero, Adalgisa Morla, Gladys Jimenez, Hehwan Ramirez Mercedes, Anthony Cid, Arturo from Fuego Restaurant, Elvis George, Rafael from the Time Share Corporation, Tomas and Hilario Mejia, provided us with outstanding service during our stay! They were always professional and took pride in what they did. Although they encountered many people during their day, they somehow made you feel special when they called you by your name, inquired about your stay and how your day was progressing!
