I have played this course for the past eight years. Four years ago they reseeded the fairways and changed a few holes to improve the layout - it went from an OK course to an excellent layout. The addition of a chipping and putting area just added to the facilitie's ambience. The fairways are superlative, greens are undulating as well as difficult to read while the sand traps could use a makeover. The course is challenging when the wind has subsided and extremely difficult when the winds are howling ( especially the last three holes ). Accuracy off the tee is a must if you intend to shoot your handicap. One tip would be to put away your driver on certain holes and use a long iron or three wood to keep your tee shot on the course rather than in one of the many water hazards. I generally shoot in the low eighties but on this course I am usually in the high eighties to low nineties ( depending on wind conditions ).
The staff at the course are friendly and knowlegeable and deserving of a tip.
Leave your clubs at the course during your stay at the resort and after a round shower up in their clubhouse - excellent facilities.
Lunch is served up outside next to the chipping/putting area.
