“Best Fish - Great Staff”
Reviewed May 15, 2014

We were staying in Bavaro for 10 days in an apartment and were generally disappointed with the food in the restaurants until we ate at Juanillo beach.

We asked the wonderful waitress Jessica if she could recommend something local. She suggested the daily special which was the Pescado a la semana, a whole snapper with a typical Dominican sauce 'semana'. It was the best.

“You want Juanillo average?”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

Juanillo beach, food, and drinks was at a mediocre beach. There were other beaches much more beautiful. Besides this being the biggest downer, is how slow the food delivery to our beach table was. The food and pricing were mediocre however our waiter was amazingly attentive and tried his very best for the youngest (by look) gentleman there.

“Great food, service, and location!”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

Playa Juanillo is a VERY relaxing beach with lounging, kayaking, wind surfing, etc... But the food at Juanillo Beach was soooo good. I can have a burger anywhere, but the burger here is absolutely delicious! Everything else we tried was good as well and they had good drinks as well. But the burgers were so good, I came back for more on another day! The ONLY thing was that they hardly spoke English, but then again, maybe I should have learned a little more Spanish before going to Punta Cana. Again, the burgers were delish and to top it all off, this was definitely one of the nicer beaches we visited!
