“Great choice in Bavaro”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

A really interesting fusion between local and international cuisine. Here you can find almost everything you want from pizza to sushi, from seafood to meat.
Service was excellent and the waiter helped us to choose two dishes from the extensive menu.
I was pleasantly surprised from the reasonable price of the food whereas wine was a bit too expensive.

“Nice patio dining”
Reviewed June 10, 2014

Delicious grilled lobster and pizza. Service was very good. Ceviche was overly salty. Go early and shop after at the shopping center next door.

“Popular, very good restaurant”
Reviewed May 12, 2014

This very nice informal, “criollo” [creole] restaurant really isn’t totally criollo but a mixture of everything. It has an outdoor terrace and an indoor air conditioned dining area. We chose the outdoor terrace as it was a pleasant afternoon. The service was extremely good (considering we were a group of over 20 people!), asking for all sorts of different appetizers and entrees. For starters, the house white-wine Sangria was refreshing but we also had some really cold Corona Beer! The appetizers we liked were the “Canasticas de Yuca” (mini yuca fried baskets filled with meat) and the mini Plantain fried, meat filled baskets. They offer other traditional appetizers (Octopus Carpaccio), fried Camembert with jelly and Sushi’s. The Churrazgo (grilled Skirt Steak) was very tasty but the Mushroom Risotto could have been a bit more ‘ardente’. For desert, order the “Dulce de Leche Crepe” topped with Vanilla Ice-cream: excellent!
