Owner description: Three Jesus loving friends with more than 30 years of experience, got together to share their Stoke and all the benefits that Surfing gave them through their life; teaching kids from 4 to 76 years old to Surf, to respect the ocean and nature in general. We are in one of the most beautiful and undeveloped beaches of the Dominican Republic, on the Punta Cana area: Macao Beach, a localism free beach where everybody is welcome, with six different breaks and one of the safest beaches to learn how to surf, and yet exciting enough for experienced surfers. Literally making dreams come true, specially for those that dreamed all their life about riding waves, for those that want to make Surfing their main sports activity, and also for those that just want to get Surfing out of their "bucket list". Surf Shack with showers and lockers.

Safest and best excursion in Punta Cana and anywhere Ive travelled and been on lots of different excursions.
My 16 teen year old son had the greatest time and the best memories surfing,
They pick you up from the resort on time and drivng you back safely.
Very nice staff that treat you like family and even gave us some of his wifes homemade browines.
Beautiful beach and gorgeous place to visit...
Thank you for helping make my sons vacation a wonderful exsperience, lots of joy watching him in the waves having a blast.
Great deal for $25 you get a CD with 100 awesome pictures on it, they even took some pics of my son and I together on the beach.
Love this place and plan to visit again in the future...
Thank you again we really appreciate your kind customer service...
p.s. met the step daughter at this excursion she was so helpful with information and respectful..

Price was reasonable. They picked us up and dropped us off. Rash guard was provided. There was plenty of staff available to help everyone in the water. Water was about 5 feet deep or less. A photographer was present which provided the option of purchasing a c.d. of photos. We took a break half way through to rehydrate with some coconut water. Bring snacks. At the time (in Nov. 2010) there were not enough large surf boards for everyone, so the females were given the smaller surf boards initially. The smaller surf boards (which were all blue) were way more difficult to balance on than the larger ones. They mentioned that they were going to purchase more of the larger surf boards. If you are given a small surf board and can't get up, ask to swap someone for a larger one. Would definitely recommend this excursion!

I've done the typical excursions like snorkeling and horse back riding and wanted something a little different so I signed up for lessons (through CaribbeanDreams). We were picked up at our hotel by Rafael and driven straight to Macao beach. During our drive Rafael gave some little history tidbits about the area and chatted with us about Punta Cana in general. The group was 7 in size and each person had 1 (or more) instructors. We started off with a brief introduction on the sand and then walked down to the smaller waves area to get right to it. Yes, most of the instructors don't speak perfect English but they try and all are really supportive. Rafael was in the water with us and gave some great tips too. After trying to get up on the board for about an hour, we took a 15 minute break to take photos and drink coconut water straight from the coconut man. Delish! Then it was right back to the water to do some more trying.

Learning to surf is exhausting, but so much fun! The guys were all great to work with and didn't seem to mind once that I swallowed the water more than actual got up on my board.

I would definitely go again and would recommend it to anyone!

All the reviews do not lie!!! It's not just good but GREAT to go there! MSC staff where amazing with our 12 year old daughter that surfed for the very first time! Made us all feel right at home! Macao beach is wonderful and is also very clean thanks to the MSC team who make all their staff conscientious about the environment! Bravo!

We ourselves are business owners in DR in Bayahibe... We recommend this place 100% and will be returning there for sure!!! See you soon!!!

It is a bit far from the Gran Bahia Principe but worth the trip to see it! So beautiful the ocean and the view!
