This was our second time at Club Med Punta Cana 5 Trident suites. It was Me, my wife and two kids. This was one of the best vacations ever. The staff was beyond exceptional. First of all I want to thank Marie ( Manager of the 5 Trident ) for always making sure everything was exceptional. Noyan( assistant F&B manager) can’t thank you enough. What am exceptional job you have done with you staff. You are very attentive to detail and go above and beyond in all you do. Let’s not forgot the out of world drinks you make . Loved you details on the private dinner. Nella(assistant house keeping manager). Words can’t do any justice in describing what you and your staff do. Rooms was always clean to the tee and let’s not forget the amazing decorations you did for our anniversary. One thing that blew my mind was that I mentioned to you (as by the way)that I need distilled water for my C-PAP machine and within no time you had for me. Your housekeeping staff always had a smile and were great with the kids . The front office assistant managers( Letitia, Fritz and Margo) . What am amazing job you do . Letitia am sure I am spelling your name wrong blame it on the Caipirinha haha. Diego( sports adventure ) amazing job you do with all the water activities and let’s not forget your amazing Brazilian dancing haha . The morning crew : Angela( bartender )-makes the best drinks that make you forget about breakfast and Castillo( the god father of 5T) - this man is wise beyond his years .He is the main reason that made me and my family return to Club Med , and we will return there if he still there. Jean( room service ) thank you always getting my breakfast order right and bringing it always on time . Evening crew: Zuleika( bartender) , Anewdy, Carlos Vincente , what am amazing crew whom provide exceptional service . Pool boys : Ivan and Ullesis - very polite and professional .
I want to wish all the upper management good health and prosperity in there future endeavors. And for local staff wish you all good health and prosperity too, keep up with the exceptional services you provide .

Noyan, Nella and Letitia thank you for all the laughs and good times , you are all more the managers .

Stayed at the 5 Trident for 10 days. I have to say that this was by far the best vacation ever. My husband and I travelled with out 2 daughters ages 7&9 and they absolutely loved it.
Special thanks to “Jean” who always brought our breakfast to our suite every morning at 8am. You are much appreciated.
To the 5 Trident bar crew “Castillo, Angela, Carlos, Anewdy, Jewlika” you guys are the BEST..... miss you guys already.
To the 5 Trident management staff “Marie, Noyan, Nella, Margeaux, Fritz and Leticia” OMG... I can’t thank you guys enough for the exceptional service provided to my family.
You guys are the best team. Clubmed is lucky to have each and everyone of you. You made out stay the very best.
I honestly have zero complaints. We will be back again in 2019.

We have holidayed with club med for many years and we’re last in Punta Cana in 2007 so we’re interested to see the refit and returned for a 12 night stay. Having got through Punta Cana airport (much better than last time and passport queue only 20 mins) it was lovely to have only 5 mins transfer to the resort.

We were not disappointed. The beach bar was lovely (our favourite place before lunch and late at night) and the zen oasis for adults was a peaceful delight.

With club med you get excellent food, the friendliest staff, lots of places to sit/lounge without queues and no early rises to put towels down. It is self- serve at the bar and for food but that makes it even more interactive and everyone in our group of 8 could chose their own so was happy!

As a French resort most of the guests spoke French as their first language so English was limited, the staff can get by to help though. Rooms for teens were simple, basic sea facing rooms and could do with a spruce up in the bathrooms but cleaning staff kept them clean. Our adult room in the zen was really lovely if you can escape without children in your room! Was worth the extra for the adults.

Evenings are lively, but not drunkard and lots of fun. We danced a lot!

Sports facilities are good as this is one of club med’s specialities, but it was so hot we used the gym. Would love some les mills classes here as they do in other club med locations but the general gym classes were good and the equipment top notch.

Not a lot around the area outside, really a resort area only but we did enjoy a Jeep safari and a lake obstacle course similar to wipe out as days out.

Seaweed was a constant battle for the staff but they had nets up and kept it clear so this didn’t impact us unless you sailed far out. A lovely breeze for sailing.

Being July it was hot hot hot, 24/7 unless in air con so we kept our clothes light and casual whilst keeping to the club med tradition of a certain colour each night. White night and 45 nights are always our favourites! Sun burn was very easy so bring lots of block. Our teens did do the trapeeze each afternoon, another club med famous activity.

So thanks club med for another great time. You delivered exactly what it said on the tin and the GO team, especially Camille in arrival teams were excellent. She only had been there a month but was super knowledgable and helpful. We’ll be back...

Chose this if you want a relaxed, unstuffy, European style holiday with excellent food, lots on site to keep you busy including sport and entertainment and happy teens.

Outdated rooms... 2 instances we had cockroaches in the room
Not so friendly staff on the tour booking process
Understaffed bars, creating long wait times
Cheap beer and liqueur
Food presentation great, however no taste...

We stayed for 10 days at the Tiara 5-Trident Punta Cana. ***room 919***
It was myself, husband and 2 children. I honestly have to say that this was our second trip to 5T and it was the best. The staff was very attentive and always ready to help us when needed.
