Picked up 20 minutes late. Drove in circles for over an hour in a hot van. The van was full and the driver kept trying to pile more in. We had to say no! They wouldn't fit. He wanted us to sit on top of each other!!
Waiting around on benches to get started. Pile us into a small boat with no life jackets. Again, very tight and full.
Get to the panoramic boat and again are packed like sardines. It was very hot down below. The glass bottom boat would be nice if the water was clear. We did not see anything but an occasional shadow. He drove slowly and in circles. Offered bottled water and peanuts.
Got to the platform, small for the amount of people we had and rocking causing sea sickness in some. The divers took off their equipment when we arrived after another group? We had to ask if we will get to scuba doo after half an hour. He seemed surprised. We were told to snorkle but 1. Not enough equipment for everyone. 2. Not much to see. 3. Water was a bit rough where the platform was so it made it difficult to swim.
Scuba doo came around, finally. It's not what you expect. You have to swim under the water to get into it. Then, you can push a button but dont really go anywhere. They push and pull you around by hand. The button to "go" just helps them a bit. The divers use all your time posing you for pictures. Water wasn't clear so you saw a few small fish up close if you remembered to bring some bread with you.
They only have 4 machines, and with not enough snorkle equipment to wait around ALOT.
Ride back to the beach was on the original small boat. Then they want to show you your pictures. I paid 35 USD for a CD of pictures of the 4 of us. Not home yet so who knows if the pictures are on it!! Then we wait more.
Drive back we were again packed in like sardines. Overall this excursion was 6 hours for 20 minutes in the scubadoo.
I also found the staff to be not as friendly as those on other excursions. Some clearly just shy with a language barrier and others just rude.
Would not recommend.
