“Make Time for This Tour”

My wife and I took this tour with two other couples. All six of us loved this tour. Jonathan Guilamo was our tour guide. He was energetic, entertaining, and presented the various aspects of the tour in a very interesting way. We took a break for lunch and the food/drink far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this tour.

“You HAVE to take this tour!”
Reviewed August 6, 2012

Our tour guide Jonathan was so awesome! He knew so much about his country, and made sure that there was never a boring moment. If you are in Bavaro I highly recommend you go on this. You spend a good amount of the day traving through the countryside and visiting how people live, eating the food, and interacting with people. Everyone is so friendly, I wouldn't trade the trip for anything! :)

“Exceptional Tour of Dominican Republic”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

Our tour guide, Nacho, was exceptional. His knowledge of the area really made for an exceptional experience. My husband and I really enjoy the visit to Maria's house and tasting coffee, fruit, chocolate, coconut oil, and chocolate. I really enjoyed tasting authentic dominican food and would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in learning about Dominican Republic history and culture.

Sammy! Sammy! Sammy! ... And Jhonny too! were are guides and they were awesome! We went on other excursions and the guides were never able to answer our questions whether it was a language barrier or not but Sammy was very educated and informative about all the topics of conversation and answered our random questions. Loved every part of this one and even learned how to boogie board on the most beautiful beach with crystal blue waters. Driving to each location was even was a bonus because you got a chance to see the primitive villages and gorgeous landscape. So much of the land uninhabited and untainted. Only caution- it's hard to stop drinking the delicious rum and sprite! :)

“Jeep Safari”
Reviewed July 21, 2012

We took a jeep safari tour (detailed in my blog: http://disdatdudder.blogspot.com/2012/07/dominican-republic-101-kilometers-in.html) that I would definitely recommend. It's a bit more convenient (you drive your own air-conditioned jeep) and the itinerary is pretty much the same. Guides are also great (and bi-lingual). Great way to experience the local "flavor" with visits to a sugar cane plantation, local farm (cocoa and other tropical fruit), experience a brief cock (rooster ;-) fight, zip-line, horseback, Macao Beach and more! Well worth the price.
