If you're interested in snorkeling or seeing marine life in its natural setting -- avoid this tour. It's a 4 hour booze cruise with a little 30-minute stopoff to see the sharks and rays -- which are in a pen. Two nurse sharks and half-dozen manta rays, which are penned up for the tourists to swim with and get pricey photo opporunities with. The reef is unremarkable, the same as around any beach in the area, and the staff feeds white bread to the fish to get them to jump. The "natural basin" just seemed to be like any other beach in the area. Free drinks and little ham sandwiches and cookies, not even a full meal out of the deal. Plastic cups and wrappers were flying into the ocean off the boat constantly. Very non-eco-friendly.
Definitely not worth the $100 I paid. Okay if you're interested in a very undemanding morning of drinking and boating, I guess. And what's a booze cruise without a lot of hot women, anyway? It was all middle-aged tourists and families. 9:00am, just a tad early for booze cruising anyway.
