We ate at La Yola Restaurant during our first night at the PUNTACANA Hotel. It was a long walk from the main hotel area, but very pleasant. Even though reservations were required, the restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived. The ambience was lovely.. you could easily hear and see the ocean! Our only fault with the restaurant was how expensive a bottle of water and a lemonade were. Those two drinks nearly cost the same as an entree! Other than that, it was fine.
