“Nice visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 27, 2012

a really nice place to visit with the kids. A nice experience. Old and young will enjoy. They've been able to keep is as natural as possible. Hope they continue to do a good job of maintaining it like this.

“Something different than beach and shopping”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2012

On a cruise including La Romana, we were looking for something different and the caves offered that. There is no cruise terminal here and it is suggested you do not go out on your own. We had beach options through out the cruise so the appeal was no beach or shopping. The cave was humid and warm, but the formations were quite beautiful. Even our teenage daughter liked it. After the cave tour, they make a quick stop at an outdoor market. It was a good option.

“INDIANS”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

This is a place where you can feel the indians. Their drawings are fresh, as if soon they will come back and chat with you. But no, Spaniards with all the diseases killed them - you can se the bones unearthed in the exploration of this impressive location.

“Very good experience”

Excellent natural beauty; facilities recently renovated. Some of the Taino indian markings looked newer than six centuries
