“Shorter 12 waterfalls”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

Fantastic experience. Long walk all up hill and very physical throughout. If you google the waterfall trip you will find some stories of people dying during this excursion and whilst Im sure this is a risk I saw how many people do this every day and I am sure there is no more risk than any other adventurous excursion.

“Wonderful”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

We went on our own, without the tour group and it was fantastic! Our guide was wonderfully helpful (even when I chickened out jumping off the first falls) and hilarious. I highly recommend going and seeing this wonderful place. Bringing a camera, unless waterproof, is pretty much out of the question and there is a big of a hike uphill for 25 minutes but 100% worth it.

“Adrenaline Rush”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

This was by far the best excursion on our vacation, besides four wheeling and paradise islands.

I would definitely pay to do all 27 lifts next time there.

“Unforgettable Experience”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

With the tour guides in the Hotels you normally get to do about 10 of the waterfalls. But, my family is originally from the DR and they told me that they got to do all 27 waterfalls and it was an all day adventure.
We went with the hotel tour since it included a tour of the city of Puerto Plata and a lunch. It was an unforgettable experience all the same. This is a tour I would recommend everyone to experience since its something you hardly get to do in the states.

“Two Girls”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

We loved this place! We decided to do the trip. All waterfalls. We didnt find the hike up to be that difficult, (but keep in mind, we hike quite a bit in general). Our tour guide was Gary, whom we feel in love with. He was funny and patient with us.The girl I was with has a slight fear of heights and did an amazing job guiding her through the different jumps and slides! Even the hike up was something else because he took the time to show us the different trees along the way and other small stuff that were native to that area. We def recommend doing this to anyone who enjoys nature and adventure!
