The food was really good and resort was beautiful and the service was excellent.The beach was nice but very wavy due to the rain.Most of all I want to mention my favorite staff member Super Sonyc.He was a amazing person and so fun to be around him.He was always smiling and had a good sense of humor.He was super friendly with the greek group and always made us laugh.He always made our day.Thank you for making our trip even better.We miss you.

so i can't write in caps terrible resorts tropical they heard to resorts to bring you to their real estate building to buy upgraded packages .spent 2000$ for terrible time your locked in cant go anywhere you dont bribe anyone /tip you get nothing i dont mind tipping im not rich but come on al inclusive resorts i got to bribe the security and beer guy to get a couple beers in my fridge ..aa few friends were told only two allowed go to the bars . if your not vip everything closed at midnight ,,,well tell me that but just as well the booze was puke gasoline unless your vip you get the seagrams the better vodka well tellus the girl in realestate office lies lies lies telling us they have vacation places to go all over the world yold them no took an hour to leave they even used places that i been to 4hrs away (they didnt know)
the airline seats suck if your ove 5-6 160lbs ok but if bigger not fat just taller bigger your in trouble terrible time no comunication lifestyles tropicana ,cofreshi and more in dominican terrible ..bar tenders just throw stuff together example a margarita tripple sec ,tequilia lime juice ice shake .,...no cloudy colur no green and no tequilia lol want the better booze got to be vip everything was about bribing well tell me ...anyways your land locked at any resort in the islands or those dirty hole countries ..and yes i mean dirty no cook no bar tender i saw ever used gloves washed a little when dirty stick or touching eveything ..you want some nice beach good drinks food fly /drive to the southern states do your homework we stayed on the beach 5 star building in panama beach florida for 65$ a night have truck drive down took 3 days sightseeing and had room for my bbque box so had our own at least every 2nd day a i made dinner for my wife go to walmart any store grab a bottle good stuff 15$ pop wine lol with gas hotel food maybe 130 a day us$ and i could go anywhere brought a rod some tackle caught some small stuff off the beach in sarasota bradenton fl bays just for fun 30$ licence 10 days and if raining go do some indoor stuff or drive around doing homework ..anyways resorts you can have them dirty disgusting terrible flying sucks never ever again dominican republic not for me ..oh one more you wipe your butt wrap up throw in garbage pail got to bribe them to clean they will but it wont be good unless vip everything was about the $ well there's the communication tell me ..transat air terrible red label vacations terrible lifestyles tropical/cofreshi junk b w windsor ontario
After reading all the reviews on here good and bad we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. This resort is beautiful sure the rooms need some updating but for the amount of time you stay in your room it really didn't bother us to much. You can't expect everything perfect for the price you pay . The beach was nice we were vip had the private cabanas this was an experience I'll never forget one of the best resorts I've been too . Would recommend for sure and would absolutely come back
As a VIP Gold Member I had the horrific experience at the resort. It was my third time there and the Villa I selected to stayed in was not available when I arrived. I was offered an outdated villa located in front of a construction site- what a view! I was told the resort was expanding and they were building a stage to hold the welcome parties that no longer happen but they keep advertising. What a lie!
I requested to speak to the manager to correct my reservation but I was turned away. The service, food, installations are simple a disaster. I joined Lifestyle Holiday VIP club years ago- I regret doing that and bringing my friends there this past summer. It was embarrassing and disappointing. I will never go back and I am looking to get rid of my membership one way or another.

Whenever I asked for help, I was given the option to UPGRADE! That’s not what I wanted. Upgrade to a different membership- why? How? After getting such a poor service, all I wanted was to get out and never look back. Lifestyle- thanks for ruining my vacation this past summer and taking my money every month. No More! Never again.
+ Site looked great, beach is nicely located and pools were cool as well.
+ A la carte restaurants were excellent(We tried Asian, Mexican and Indian).
+ Entertainment was actually good (Retro night was my personal favorite).
+ Access to wifi connection everywhere on site.
- Buffet was below expectations; limited/questionable options.
- Guest services was horrible - smiling is not in their « moto » (aside from bartenders)
- I was in building 4 and our room was bad (electricity issue, looked bad, AC issues, name it). When I asked if we could be relocated, I couldn’t since I was not a member.
- The resort is clearly not eco-responsible... they still use disposable cups, plastic straws, diesel golf carts, they use animals for pictures (I know this is a common practice but it shouldn’t), etc.
- Music variety was limited (same songs over and over)
Overall, I won’t recommend this hotel, specifically not to « my best friend » as their logo goes by, since they are way better options elsewhere in Puerto Plata ; but it was cheap... so I guess we should’ve lowered our expectation.
This is mine and my husbands second time coming. Roberto from the Casa Blanca is the best sever ever hands down, Tito, Greyson, and Jose from the pool are are so friendly and we don't stop laughing. These people and this place is our second home! Accommodations, food, drinks, activities and entertainment we will always have a smile on our face. Amazing place!
