We stayed at the resort for a full week and I was incredibly happy with just about everything this resort had to offer.
The Resort: Huge. The resort is absolutely massive. This was somewhat of a downside as we really had no idea where we could go and where we couldn't as this was not well explained to us. Very clean - the staff was always picking up around the resort and doing basic upkeep. Lots of pools, bars, and restaurants.
The Rooms: The resort is a bit on the older side, but they are working on updating things. We stayed in one of the recently remodeled rooms so it was more up to date than others - ask to stay in building 5 if you can! The room was fine, very standard hotel room - kind of an odd set up with the bathroom, but other than that it was fine. Downside, we were supposed to receive beer and such in the mini fridge, but we never did.
Housekeeping; The housekeeping was hit or miss - sometimes we came back to an immaculately cleaned room that was well stocked with artistic towel designs and other times not so much...coming back to no additional bottled water and just overall what looked to be a very rushed service.
Entertainment: I am not someone who needs a ton of entertainment - I am happy just laying on the beach reading, but there...We stayed at the resort for a full week and I was incredibly happy with just about everything this resort had to offer.

Entertainment: I am not someone who needs a ton of entertainment - I am happy just laying on the beach reading, but there were options which included games like ping pong, aerobics classes, etc. They did have entertainment in the evenings, which we didn't ever attend - again because I am an early to bed and early to rise gal, so I can't really say how these shows were.
Food The Buffets (Casablanca and The Pearl): The food overall was good for being all inclusive resort food, which normally is just pretty mediocre. The buffet breakfast was by far my least favorite...I normally just stuck to fruit for breakfast. However, you could get food pretty much all day long as the buffets would serve snacks in between the buffet hours which normally were burgers and fries. For lunch the buffets did made to order pasta which was my favorite. In the evening the buffets were always better and every other night you could get all you could eat fresh grilled shrimp - so good! That was by far my favorite thing we ate. Recommend skipping dessert that was never very good. Take home message on the buffets - go straight for the made order foods!
Food - Reservation Restaurants: Indochine - the food was good, asian inspired, and I pleasantly cleaned my plate. The Blue Lagoon - I love seafood and this restaurant did not disappoint. Moombas - My least favorite. I do like Indian food, however, this was way over the top spicy to the point that we had to go to the buffet after we ate here.
Staff - Staff was great for the most part - very friendly and very attentive. Room for improvement would be on the VIP beach more staff to go around for drinks and food - it took for ever to get made to order food on the beach and drinks were easier to come by if you would go up to the bar instead of be waited on. Normally at all inclusive resorts there are time share people that will not leave you alone, however, at this resort that was not an issue whatsoever which I absolutely loved and very much appreciated!
The Beach - The beach was very small, but very nice. Water was a bit choppy and you could not really snorkel off shore - if you are looking to snorkel take an excursion. Careful about buying things on the beach - we did purchase an excursion on the beach and it was not a good deal. We had far better luck booking our excursion on Trip Advisor - by far the best price and great experience.
Overall, I was very happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again! Can't beat the price!More
