Hello,

I'm very interested in a Yasika Adventure during my vacation in Puerto PLata in a few weeks. I am traveling from Canada through Nolitours and I've been told they will offer this as one of the excursions upon arrival to the resort. I've done some research and it seems that it's approx. 84.00 for this through a variety of tour companies, but there is a lack of description of what's included. One tour company suggested this included the ziplining, a tour through a "monkey jungle" and a decent into a cave. This sounds great if this is the case, but with the language barrier am concerned that this may be an additonal cost upon arrival to Yasika or the cave decent may be part of the actual zip lining. Another tour company only mentioned the zip lining.

Help! What tour company did you travel with and what's included?!

Thanks
Jaclyn

After waiting for an hour at the resort for the tour bus to pick us up, we learned that Yasika had cancelled our day, because we were the only ones going....After a disturbing hour and a phone call to Yasika, they made it right, and agreed to take us in the afternoon....The ride up the mountain and the scenery was beautiful and educational, the staff was courteous, professional and they did a great job explaining how to do things and we felt very safe...This should be one of the top items on your list to do before you get too old...It was fantastic and we are so glad they made the special effort to take us...The fruit and beer at the end was the icing on the cake....Just make sure that your trip doesn't get cancelled due to lack of people....You'll be missing so very much....
