The biggest asset of this hotel is that it a stone's throw away from all the major historical buildings and spot within the colonial zone. We enjoyed walking to the sites and strolling along the old historical building around the colonial zone. We went out late several times and felt the neighborhood the hotel was safe. The room rates are fairly priced. The rooms are clean but lack windows (hard to tell how late it is or early due to this). The breakfast (included on a stay) was decent with a nice variety of choices. The employees are professional and attended your needs.
In my opinion, the black lights were a bit strange making it look modern but juxtaposed the historical elements of the buidling. The building kept the original moldings, tiles and designs from the early to late 1900s but thought the black lights were unecessary. Im sure the employees couldnt wait to get out of the "ultraviolet" ambiance!More
