“Raciist and elitist restaurant”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

im an average dominican. Meaning that my family and i are dark skin. We arrived at the restaurant at 1:00 pm when it was literaly empty. We waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Without recieving our order. Meanwhile, all other custommers were served. All of them (white people). What a coincidence! We left. We consider ourselves people with a great level of dignity. Its a shame in a country where more than 90% are dark skin. Where the peopke that work there are dark skin.

“Good food... and Average Ambiance”
Reviewed July 26, 2012

Food: Creative Food Styling when serving main dishes
No bread for the wait i.e.. house complement..
Attention: Average for RD, normal. Not as good as Mitre, Mansion, Don Pepe, or Pedro (new chic restaurant of the Nipau Style)
Price: Ok, a little bit overpriced for what you get.
There isnt a Wine reviewer that may help you with "Maridaje" or a wine expert that encourages to ask for a wine in special, even though they have a joint venture with "Enoteca" or something like that..so the list of wines is , average
Its a Dominican and Mediterranean fusion, interesting but, I wouldnt go back. Its worth to try once, but the menu isnt that great.
Ambiance, Ok, Music, fine, I think its too simple, not glam, really simple and it doesnt invite you to stay for some drinks, its just to go and have a nice dinner, maybe business dinner, but not to go with friends and have some drinks.
I asked for the "Pulpo a la gallega" and I found it like a "gum" as if when it is overcooked, not so tasty, it didnt have sea salt and enough paprika as the gallega style needs to have. I also asked for a Grilled salmon with aromatised lentilles, they tasted fine, they smelled different and great, as in asian cuisine (a lot of jasmine) but they were too greasy so the next day I didnt feel well..in general..try the place, but, I just wanted to try it, but I really wouldnt go back.

“Excellent food, great ambiance”
Reviewed March 10, 2012

Really enjoyed my meal here. Its a very nice place, with attention to detail and excellent service. The food was heavy, rich, salty, well prepared, and absolutely delicious. We had a few soups which were the size of a small meal. Very heavy, and deep with flavor. The best dish we had was the Puplo ala Parilla over Yuka mash. 2 amazing small creatures with I believe a chimichurri sauce, very well cooked, tender and memorable. The squash risotto with goat cheese was more of the theme, creamy, delicious, rich, well cooked food that we could not finish. We had a modestly priced bottle of prosecco which was a perfect match to the meal. Great place, highly recommended.
