a real standby for locals and the fortunate visitor who hears of it. this principally sea food restaurant has been operated by the same family for decades. a bit out of the way but well worth the visit. same waiters and same decor for many years speak of it's consistancy. the food is highly predictable. fast and efficient service. prices good for quality and quanity. amongst my favorites are the grilled chillo, aguate salad, shimp in cream and cheese sauce and fried shrimp. sometimes they have the giant crab which is a sensational dish to look at. the meat dishes are less exciting as are the deserts. most of my friends consider it the best place in Santo Domingo for sea food.
