The island was beautiful and the people were very friendly. My experience in Dominica was a memorable one I won't forget. After cruising to the Island we traveled to the tip of the Island to Scotts Head for a wonderful day of snorkling on the bay side of the island. We spent most of the day snorkling in the warm clear waters of the bay feeding the many colorful tropical fish and turning over rocks uncovering invertibrates, the most interisting of all were the cuddlefish who swam in the distance , there were a few sting rays and barracudas which kept their distance, all and all it was a great day. Joe in New Orleans.

I spent three weeks in Dominica Christmas 2002 and the best diving by far was to be had in the Scott's Head area. It has lots to offer: A profusion of wildlife, fantastic scenery (above and below water), laid back but professional diving crews in the area, and an interesting position straddling a headland separating the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. This means that you can dive the Caribbean one day and see turtles and other Caribbean sea life, and go 'round the corner the next day and see some big -BIG- fish on the Atlantic side. Highly recommended if you're in Dominica.
