“If you don't dive it you'll miss the seahorses!”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

The Champagne site is a really great dive, possibly the best we did all week. There are 3 distinct parts.

You start off by heading to a very healthy and colorful reef that is rich in fish life including morays and frogfish (which you also miss if you snorkel). As you head to the vent, the scenery gets sparcer and more desolate looking although the water gets warmer. Then you head to the sand flats where we saw more than 5 seahorses.

“Great place to snorkel, but head out to the wall”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

The bubbles are interesting, but the higher temperature water around the bubbles means lots of algae growth. Swim past that and to the left for a great wall with nice, healthy corals and schools of interesting fish. Highly recommended.

“Bubbles!”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

The snorkeling at Champagne Reef is awesome! There are loads of different kinds of corals, bunches of fish, and bubbles up along the shore! Just be prepared for the waves of 30-minute tourists coming in groups off the cruise ships....
