“Hidden Gem on the Beach”
Reviewed November 24, 2013

This is the kind of restaurant that people dream of opening up! It sits right on the ocean, is an open air building, has a chic yet natural setting and is home to some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. I believe the menu is in transition from a core of mexican to a more eclectic mix of entrees. Regardless of the transition, the food was very good (buritto was pastry like and heavenly!). The drinks were very stout and worth every penny (so stout our wifes ended up skinny dipping in the ocean!). Our favorite part of the restaurant was the small sitting area down by the ocean. It was the pefect place to end your day and watch the sun dip into the ocean. Kudos to Tom and his wife for carving out a little slice of paradise on Dominica.

“An Unexpected Miracle”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

Not the most vivid location from the road so you have to look carefully for it as you drive by. But when you walk through the door you enter a tropical paradise with some really great Mexican Food. The small staff go to great lengths to make you welcome, serve you efficiently promptly and offer a truly wonderful menu. As with any restaurant in the Caribbean you need to by prepared for "Island Time" and be comfortable with a 20 minute wait for your food. The atmosphere at the beach, the elaborate rock sculpture and path and the short path to the water make it a very memorable experience. Prices are very reasonable and far below what I expected to pay for such a fantastic dining experience.

“Hidden jewel”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

After living in Dominica for a year, we came across this lovely place. Looking from the outside, you would never know what lies inside. With open air seating, different secluded areas to sit, and the jungle encroaching, this place has quite the atmosphere. Not to mention the waves of the ocean crashing on the rocks out front. Just about every table has a phenomenal view. We had great service and delicious food. Who knew you could find fresh Mexi food in Dom? Our burritos were served with a delicious corn and carrot salad tasting of fresh lime and cilantro. The chicken nachos and bean and fish burritos were great as well. So, with an eclectic atmosphere and great food, Zam Zam comes highly recommended!

“Excellent food and service”

Small little restaurant and big on flavor. Leans toward more Mexican cuisine. After dinner, sit out on the beach watching the sunset. We ate there 2 times during our stay.

“The best mojitos and great Mexican food”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

The mojitos here are the best I've ever tasted. We had excellent chicken nachos with drinks in a seating area right beside the Caribbean Sea. This was followed by yummy chicken burritos in the patio also overlooking the sea. We enjoyed it so much we returned a second time during our 9 day stay ! Our daughter enjoyed a quesadilla and we all had some of the freshest and tastiest guacamole.
