Owner description: A natural water-ride created by two hot springs, a rock pool and a river.

What a pretty place, we swam through the gorge up to two waterfalls. We rented the life vests even though we are good swimmers and we were glad that we did. The water is cool and deep, and you are swimming against the current. The life vest made it a lot easier to swim and kept was warm as well. You have to climb up some rocks to see the second waterfall completely. After we swam out of the gorge we rinsed off in a waterfall that had warm water. What a unique and beautiful experience! I definitely recommend a stop here if you are touring Dominica. If you can take a private tour with two or four people you are better off than if you are on a large bus with a lot of people as the gorge is not that big and can get crowded.

It's cold, yes, but get over it and get in. This place is incredible. I recommend water shoes, and maybe a wetsuit, mask and a snorkel wouldn't hurt either. It helps if you're a strong swimmer because you're going against the river. They give you floaties for a reason, wear them! Once you climb over the little fall, you'll realize why it's worth it. As you're swimming back, float on your back so you can appreciate the view above. Just don't swim into a rock. You can take a warm shower in a natural warm spring when you're done.

This was one of my favorite sights, BUT you have to be willing to swim back through the gorge or it would not get my 5 stars. It's a nice cool pool with a rock bottom to the average sightseer. However, if you swim through the gorge to the back, it's like something you see only in the movies (in fact, it was in a movie!) Very awesome experience with a waterfall at the very end. I was chilled from the swim, but it was worth it for the view and memory. Luckily this wasn't crowded by any tours at the time for us and it was a nice way to icebath our calves after hiking Boiling Lake!

This was part of a three stop tour via Bumpling Tours, who i highly recommend. It was not as cold as I had anticipated, pretty crowded. About 200 yard swim in a increasing current (from the falls, no doubt). Can climb up part of falls (3 or 4 feet) and jump out from there. Easy swim back. I would suggest most people do this as part of a tour (as least very young and older swimmers) as the current is noticeable but not dangerous as you would just go back to the entry spot! Unusual place. Worth a stop.

we ve been on the Lost World 4X4 with Celebrity cruise line and it was very valuable. The best excursion done durin gthe cruise. A lot of things to see. Tree, nature, water, Tropical Forest etc.

We swam in that Gorge and that was fantastic. Scene from Carabean Pirate was filmed there.
Clean, safe and very nice experience to live !
