My husband and i stayed here for 2 weeks in a one bedroom apartment with a view of Spanish water. Sylvia and her staff are there for you all you need to do is ask! Very personal service and the facilities were also well kept and very clean. On site as well for divers is Roel Jungslager who is a PADI dive instructor, if you're already a diver he will provide guiding to those hard to get to spots. Also not to be missed and enjoyed is Dushi Retreat run by Rianne Rikken who gives the most delicious massages, she also has a yoga \ exercise class on thursday morning. I loved being able to do yoga with the birds singing and the ocean in the background. My husband and i enjoyed the feeling of having a home base to come back to... we will be back again... so sad to leave :(

We loved the location on bay of ocean and owners were lovely and very helpful! The resort was shabby but clean. Unfortunately we found it noisy and often over run by locals on a day pass. We were looking for a little more quiet. Also, we found out on last night that our skeleton room key fit all apartment doors! Not a very safe feeling. Our neighbour told us she had money go missing. If I had known then what I know now I would have brought a lock for suitcases ( we bought one). Also apartment comes with toilet paper and coffee filters. Bring soap and anything else you do not want to have to purchase ( sugar, salt, small bars of soap etc).

Decided to spend the last weekend of the school-holidays relaxing with kids on our own island and it really did feel like a mini-holiday away from home :)...

Lovely surroundings, nice atmosphere, sweet & very personal service from owners & staff... Ooohhh... and those hammocks :)... We'll be back for sure !

I know that we have already written a review of Limestone but I just have to add a little more.
My wife's family came back and we again booked Limestone for them.

The positive experience of the last time just continued.
By now, I can safely state that Limestone will be their home-base each time they come to Curacao.

It's like being away from being away.
Nice, simple, friendly, sea-breeze, nature, smiles, starts, moon, sun,......these are just a few words that come to mind.

My wife and I will recommend this to all our friends and relatives because we know that contrary to many other places, this includes the heart and soul that everyone needs who does not look for the artificial taste of plastic and mass-accommodations of modern hotels.

Greta pl;ace, great time with a taste of life.

Aleco

Room Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks the water.

We chose this place to spend our honeymoon due to the great reviews we read, and we were not disappointed! Silvia and her son Roel are the sweetest people you will come across, they will make you feel at home right away, and they always stop and chat whenever they were around. Yes, it's in a bit of a hidden location, but most likely you'll have to rent a car anyway, so the drive isn't at all bad once you get a hang of the town and the roads.
This is not the place you go when you're used to luxury resorts (we're definitely not that kind). However, it quickly grows on you, and it is very peaceful. They have TV with cable, decent wi-fi, many movies to borrow for free, and snorkel/diving equipment ready for rental. They even have Roel Jr's girlfriend offering massages for a very reasonable rate at a cute spot with a nice view. She is wonderful!

I am very happy to have chosen Limestone Holiday Resort for our first stay in Curacao. Absolutely recommended!

Room Tip: I say pick the room based on your space needs. It's not a very large resort, so you're close to the water either way. We had unit #9, which is a 1-bedroom apartment with "partial" view of the water. Didn't mind it at all, and we actually enjoyed having a bit more privacy on the higher side of the resort (some of the other units open directly into the "public" areas).
