We chose this place to spend our honeymoon due to the great reviews we read, and we were not disappointed! Silvia and her son Roel are the sweetest people you will come across, they will make you feel at home right away, and they always stop and chat whenever they were around. Yes, it's in a bit of a hidden location, but most likely you'll have to rent a car anyway, so the drive isn't at all bad once you get a hang of the town and the roads.
This is not the place you go when you're used to luxury resorts (we're definitely not that kind). However, it quickly grows on you, and it is very peaceful. They have TV with cable, decent wi-fi, many movies to borrow for free, and snorkel/diving equipment ready for rental. They even have Roel Jr's girlfriend offering massages for a very reasonable rate at a cute spot with a nice view. She is wonderful!

I am very happy to have chosen Limestone Holiday Resort for our first stay in Curacao. Absolutely recommended!

Room Tip: I say pick the room based on your space needs. It's not a very large resort, so you're close to the water either way. We had unit #9, which is a 1-bedroom apartment with "partial" view of the water. Didn't mind it at all, and we actually enjoyed having a bit more privacy on the higher side of the resort (some of the other units open directly into the "public" areas).

We brought our kids (ages 5 & 7) and my mother with us to Curacao with the idea of relaxing. That is exactly what our experience was, mostly due to The Limestone Holiday Resort and those who run it. Silvia & Roel and the rest of their family were amazing!!!! They went above and beyond to accomodate us without pressuring us to do or see anything. There is a nice pool and small beach for kids. They also had a library of books, videos and games that were available for use during our stay. We went on a snorkeling/sightseeing trip their son and it was the highlight of our kids trip. We did rent a car and drove aound the island to see some other beaches and sights. I can honostly say that the Limestone Holiday was hands down the most accomodating and welcoming family run resort we have stumbled across (Huge Bang For Your Buck!).

We found this small resort first class.
It has everything we wanted, pool, beach and quite.
You do need a car or scooter to be able to get around.
We highly recommend visiting north of the island where you will find white beaches and snorkelling to die for. Its only a 45 minute drive.
Limestone can arrange anything you need.
We will be going back.

Last week I booked an apartment at Limestone in Curacao for some family members and it was an amazing experience.

Great, relaxing, friendly, peaceful, refreshing, are just a few words that come to mind.
A place where time pressure disappears and you enjoy the peace and with every breath.

So stress, no hassle, no problems!

Sitting in the moonlight, in the cool Caribbean breeze, overlooking the peaceful water, under the palm trees, ... wow...

This was exactly what the family wanted. They wanted a piece of paradise and that is exactly what they got.

They will be back in December so Roel and Silvia, see you soon!

Aleco & Family.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the water, in front to the pool are the best

Had a lovely stay at this resort, quiet, peacefull and a great location right at the spanish water, Our rep was Anette/Sylvia and they were lovely and friendly, making sure we had/knew everything we wanted. Lovely service and she recommended great things for us to do each day/night. Would def come back again. Limestone was just what we needed at the end of out holiday. Car is needed at Curacao!
