Absolutely stunning beach. The pictures and water were unreal. White powder sand. You can see blue/green far out. Tip: bring water shoes

It is a beautiful beach, big, clear water, family friendly and it's a public beach. So everyone is welcome for free, you can do barbecue, games and so much more.

We visited Kenepa Beach (Grote Knip) on a Saturday and we enjoyed the authenticity of the beach. In the weekend tourists are in the minority. So we felt we experienced some local beach culture.

Thanks to trip advisor, my husband and I did this properly and visited kenepa and Klein knip on the first day. The beaches are near each other and the lounge chairs are $15 for 2 ppl. (But, if you buy one at one beach, it’s good at the other and you don’t have to pay again). It’s a two minute drive between the beaches. You really need to rent a car on curaçao to fully appreciate the beauty of the beaches and everything the island has to offer. It was about a 45 minute drive from our hotel in Wilmestaad (near the bridge), but we enjoyed the ride. You must visit these beaches...get away from the more crowded beaches. They are gorgeous!

This beach is a true gem! Renting a car with the 45 minute drive was completely worth it! There is absolutely nothing to see on the way; so much so that we thought we were going in the wrong direction, then suddenly Kenepa Beach appears. Truly a hidden gem. We rented an umbrella and chairs and enjoyed every minute of it!
