The hotel looks good, very appealing lobby, nice 24/7 swimming pool, nice garden, rooms are a bit dusty but it's ok. Kitchen ammeneties are Ok.
Lots of mosquitos, be aware with opening doors.
Great stay
The hotel is located in the Piscaderabaai next to the Hilton and the Marriott. It's a short drive into Willemstad and having a car is highly recommended. There is free and safe parking on the premises. The suites are all equipped with little kitchenettes and most have a lovely terrace of balcony. They all have a big fridge and freezer. We enjoyed the restaurant Sjalotte on several nights and also prepared our own food on some nights. Breakfast is fairly expensive and not very special. There is a big supermarket "Centrum" not far from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and always eager to help. We enjoyed the location; you can walk to Pirate Bay and may use the Parasasa Beach, which is adults only. It is a great hotel, excellent to just relax and unwind. We would definitely recommend Floris Suite for a stay on Curacao.

Have to say we enjoyed staying here and had no problems at all. The room was certainly adequate, though it could use some freshening up.. Staff was always very helpful and we used the pool a number of times. Location is such that you need a car, but you can walk to the private beach down the road (golf cart service also available if you do not feel like hoofing it). Can be noisy at night with the wildlife sounds, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
Great price for the amenities and location - we'd go back!

We stayed here in September 2013. We booked the hotel because it was suppose to be adult only/straight friendly. It wasn't. At several times we had small kids in the pool. Explanation of the management: These people booked before they changed it to a adult/straight friendly hotel. That is not appropriate and not for us nor for the families with children. I'm still in correspondence with Travelocity, the hotel remains silent. The lack of trying to solve the problem or doing something is showing that the hotel doesn't care.
The staff was ok, the restaurant as well. We upgraded, which was good, the kitchen is nice and usable, however the rooms do not appear as they are shown on the picture. The hotel needs a lot of attention. The bathroom had mold in the shower and was run down. At day 3 we found some roaches in the kitchen. After complaining they took care of it. The hotel has a good location, however you need a car. There is a beach close by, maybe a 5 min walk. Not big but nice.
All over a fair hotel for a ok price, not great. There are better places. In general we didn't feel very welcome on the island.

We enjoyed our stay at the Floris Suite Hotel, the room was excellent, the restaurant was very good, staff was wonderful. The reason we are only doing "Very Good" is my husband and I feel there needs to be some attention to the pool. There are several tiles missing and discoloration from chlorine in the pool.

Have stayed here on a few occasions and it's very nice because I feel u get more for the money! Swimming pool is kinda small but everything else is perfect-great price, friendly service, very helpful staff, excellent sleep quality, and zero complaints. U feel like ur in a forest with the hotel hidden away but the ambience is very romantic and peaceful. The beds were firm and sleep quality was great.
